Gendarmenmarkt

One of my favorite squares in Berlin is the Gendarmenmarkt. With the Concert House in the middle, accompanied from the French and German Cathedral at each side, there’s a lot to see. But not just that, there’s always people sitting out on terraces, having a drink or something to eat. And in the winter, there’s a beautiful Christmas market on the square.

On one of the corners of the Gendarmenmarkt you can find heaven for chocolate lovers, Rausch Schokoladenhaus. In the store you’ll find Berlins sights made of chocolate and you can buy tons of chocolate. In the cafe on the first floor you can both drink or eat chocolate and enjoy the view on the Gendarmenmarkt.
